Record the failure
Photograph the stop code and note what was happening before the restart. Recent driver, hardware or software changes can help narrow the investigation, but the code alone rarely proves one cause. Check whether important work is backed up before deeper troubleshooting.
Use supported recovery steps
Disconnect unnecessary external devices and review the relevant manufacturer's guidance. Use supported Windows recovery options when appropriate. Avoid random driver packs and repeated reinstallations. On company equipment, coordinate changes with IT, especially if encryption or business applications are involved.
Escalate repeated crashes
Repeated failures, overheating or storage warnings may need hardware tests and log analysis. Keep the timeline and error details for the technician. A computer that starts once after a crash has not necessarily had the underlying fault resolved.
